Some of the many things to do while visiting St. Thomas - let the property managers assist you in planning any activities and excursion you would like:
Neltjeberg Beach is a half mile long strip of pristine white sand, which you will usually share only with a few pelicans diving for fish in the colorful reef. The snorkeling is excellent year around and many varieties of marine life can be seen just offshore.
Snorkeling: Very easy to do, can be mastered in just a few minutes. Can be done almost anywhere there's water. Really fun!
Scuba: Go under water and become one with the environment. Many places to explore, lessons and equipment rental readily available.
Day sailing: Whether a private sail just for your group or a larger boat with other vacationers, visit other islands, snorkel and have a great lunch aboard. Makes for a very memorable day.
Power boat rentals: Many sizes to choose from, captain it yourself or hire an experienced captain for the day to join you. Visit many other Islands and Cays or even a floating restaurant and bar.
St. John: A half hour ferry ride away St. John is 2/3rds national park. Many great beaches, fine shopping and old ruins just waiting to be explored.
Para-sail: Several boats especially designed to make this very easy and safe to do, soar a few hundred feet above the blue waters below. Very nice!
Sea Kayak: Explore the mangroves and marine sanctuary, get an up close look at tropical nature.
Sport fishing: Our local waters are a mecca for deep sea fishing and big game fishing. Half day and full day charters are available.
Horse back riding: Trail rides through lush country side.
Tennis: Several courts with-in a few minutes from Villa Amour.
Golf: Mahogany Run Golf course is a Robert Trent Jones designed 18 hole par 70. Some very dramatic holes to be played here. Just 10 minutes away.
Star gaze: Have a look at the heavens through one of the largest telescopes in the Caribbean. Complete with star guide.
Shopping Galore: St. Thomas is a duty free port!
Other stuff to do: Wave running, wind surfing, visit the botanical gardens, helicopter tours, Coral World, and many great restaurants.
